ABP Part Number: ABP-TRSC-KIT-5. The Transceiver Kit includes Transceiver Power Supply uninterruptible power supply, Shock/Vibration Rack Mount, High Efficiency Amplified Speaker and associated cables for the AN/PRC-117G Transceiver in vehicle convoy, Command Post, TOC, shelter, HMMWV, military & civilian vehicles, aircraft, shipboard and portable applications.

The Transceiver Kit powers the AN/PRC-117G from any AC power source worldwide (85-270 VAC / 47-440 Hz including AC generator, local power grid and aircraft power) or 9-36V DC power source to include HMMWV, military & commercial vehicles, boat and aircraft. The power supply unit supplies Uninterruptible power to the PRC-117F transceiver and speaker while charging the internal rechargeable backup battery that automatically powers the transceiver during an AC or DC power failure.

The Shock/Vibration mount has 1 quick release thumb screw that accommodates Jerk-And-Run applications as well as vehicle, shelter, aircraft and communication rack installations.

The PRC-117G transceiver and the ABP power supply are latched together and attached to the mount with 1 quick release thumb screw that provides positive lock (no tools are necessary for mounting/dismounting). The mount accommodates Jerk-And-Run applications as well as vehicle, shelter, aircraft and communication rack installations. The ABP-AC/DC/BT-TR-4A, AC/DC/Battery Uninterruptible Power Unit is an uninterruptible power supply that provides DC power to an external device (TOCNET or other) that requires 24VDC/28VDC nominal up to 5.25A, 7A peak. The system includes High Power AC to DC Power Supply, High Efficiency Amplified Speaker™(s) with special Automatic Level Control (ALC) for local/remote operation, all necessary cables and padded case for storage/transportation. The Power System has an output of 28VDC up to 57A. Continuous short circuit protection is provided at the output by an internal current limiter. The ABP Battery Eliminator part number AN/PRC-152 ABP-DCBE-1 for the AN/PRC-152 radio allows the radio to be powered from a standard BA-5590 or BB-390 or BB-590 or BB-2590 communication battery that is readily available or from any external DC power source within the range of 6VDC to 36VDC to include 6VDC, 12VDC, 24VDC and 28VDC.

The ABP Battery Eliminator replaces the AN/PRC-152 radio battery and attaches to the AN/PRC-152 radio in the same manner as the standard radio battery. The unit size is identical to the AN/PRC-152 standard battery.

The ABP-VAK-M1-ADPT1 allows for installation of up to two ABP-VAK-M1 and/or ABP-VAK-M2 units allowing operation from any DC power source within the range of 9-36 VDC (to include HMMWV, 24V/28V military & 12V commercial vehicles, boat and aircraft). The Shock/Vibration Vehicle Adapter Kit ABP-VAK-M2 for the AN/PRC-152 Hand Held Radio provides 40 Watts of RF amplification for the AN/PRC-152 Radio across the frequency range of 30-512 MHz with receive gain in SATCOM mode. Bi-directional filtering minimizes co-site interference from nearby radios and provides extra margin needed to communicate in noisy environments.

The Dual Base Station/Repeater/Retransmit Integrated Case part number ABP-RPT-152-2 for AN/PRC-152 Handheld radio is a complete system in a small (19.25”L x 15.3”W x 7.5”H), lightweight (30 lbs), watertight operation/transportable case that is commercial airline checkable. The system provides 40 watts, 30-512MHz multi-band RF power amplification and uninterruptible AC/DC power system.

The case accommodates two AN/PRC-152 handheld radio sets for Base Station/Repeater/Retransmit mode. The radios are mounted on a Jerk-And-Run mount inside the case and operate from uninterruptible power. The ABP-RPT-152-2 is fully automatic.
